Time… It doesn't hold a lot of weight with me these days. It rarely ever did. It can seemingly go fast when you don't want it to and seemingly go ridiculously slow when all you want is to get the heck out of somewhere. Like when I used to work at a store, I'd watch the clock and the last hour would feel slower than all previous hours combined.
Time is measured by movement and decay. If there was no movement or visual decay then you wouldn't register time. At all.
It’s said that Time is an illusion and I believe it. I mean, Quantum Physics is supposed to have proven it to be true. It’s just really, really hard not to get carried away by the illusion. Quantum Physics even suggests that everything is ultimately an illusion and if you think about it, it really is, because nothing is truly solid. You can almost relate atoms to pixels.
